After the Parade

After the Parade

The remainders of the parade. The parade may be over but even today there remains evidence of the day taped, stuck, wrapped, and strapped to the bikes. The decorations are more battle scarred than what you see here, but I know we are going to live with what’s left till it all falls off.

Thanks Bob and Ruth!

FamilyCanoe

The kids have declared that their second favorite activity over the 4th of July weekend was the canoe trip on the Upper Roaring Fork. The first was riding their bikes in the parade, it’s hard to beat that when your 3 and 4. Thanks to both of you for taking the time to make it happen. Life and relationships are always about first’s and It’s these things that a kid remembers forever. Thank You for being there for them.

Aspen Town Bike

Uncle Bob’s daily driver. It’s about as used as a bicycle can be and still roll. He rides it into town every day. It’s pretty funny when you open his toy box and every other bike is pristine and perfect. This one he doesn’t have to worry about when he leans it up against a tree in town. It’s guaranteed to be there when he comes back.

Blue Heron

Blue Heron

I live in Colorado and Blue Heron’s are not an everyday experience. Imagine my surprise when this BIG ASS BIRD lands on my fence. I think he was shopping for lunch in my neighbor’s Koi pond. I had just enough time to grab this shot and then he was off for his snack.
