Waiting on the Tarmac at Las Vegas International Airport. I took this picture through one of those magnificent coach window seats on an Airbus A320. Moooo! Click on the picture for a larger version.
Back at it. Been busier than heck these last weeks with very little time for myself. Anyway, I finally found time to take a vacation with my wife and we just returned from that wonderful wet place known as Las Vegas. Yes, wet, really wet. Vegas had more rain in the last week than they have had since 1941. I shot this late one night, or maybe it was early, walking around town in between drizzles. Something about it appealed to me and it fits this weeks challenge. So, I present to you.. the bowels of the Las Vegas version of the Eiffel Tower for this weeks Photo Friday: Industrial.

This one is a Colorado Tradition. Tonight we went to the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo. It is one of the few places where you can watch Mutton Busting, which is where children are strapped to farm animals and it’s called entertainment (The announcers words, not mine). Actually it is, especially when they give the 4 and 5 year old kids trophies bigger than they are tall. All of these pictures were shot with my wife’s Canon S400.

I took this in May 2003 at the Erie, Colorado Town Fair. I was walking back to my car after the ballon launch to leave, and this image presented itself. It may not be my best work of 2003 but it is my favorite.
